Are you a skilled Tower Technician seeking a new opportunity in the telecommunications industry? We are currently looking for a Tower Technician I MODS to join our team. If you're a certified tower climber with experience in installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment on various structures, this position might be the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot alarms/RSSI issues using sweep gear
Perform electrical and mechanical adjustments on antennas
Install jumpers and ensure proper connections
Complete necessary paperwork accurately
Audit sites for safety and quality standards
Climb various communication structures
Follow instructions diligently and complete required documentation
Key Requirements
Certified tower climber through Gravitec Systems, Inc. or ComTrain
Proficiency in working with microwave equipment
Strong troubleshooting skills for connectors and antenna systems
Knowledge of UMTS and standard knots
Ability to lead and collaborate with team members
Physical Demands
Lift up to 60 pounds
Climb, crawl, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces
Adaptable to various weather conditions
Identify color codes for cables
Comply with safety procedures
Certifications And Additional Requirements
Willingness to travel within a designated region
Anritsu and/or OSHA certification a plus
