Our team is seeking a Tower Technician II to support all aspects of tower installations, troubleshoot alarms, and ensure quality audits. This role involves climbing communication structures, conducting electrical and mechanical down tilts, and working with a collaborative team to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance of antennas and transmission lines
- Troubleshoot alarms and RSSI issues using sweep gear
- Lead and support lower-level employees
- Install coaxial cables and identify color codes
- Perform fiber testing and tower demolition
- Travel within the region and work in various conditions
- Adhere to safety protocols, including BYOD policy
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Valid driver's license
- Certified Tower Climber with Rescue certification
- Knowledge of UMTS, 4G, standard knots, and Anritsu
- Ability to climb with up to 60 pounds of equipment
- Lift up to 60 pounds
- Climb in ladder racking
- Work in confined spaces and harsh weather conditions
